ABOUT US
The Lenny Trusler Children's Foundation (LTCF) is dedicated to helping provide the relief of serious illness in newborn babies and infants, both in the UK and abroad.
The foundation was created by violinists Matthew Trusler and Maya Koch after the death of their baby son from a rare kidney disease in April 2007. Just one month after its official launch in May 2008 it was chosen as Charity of the Year 2008/2009 by
Reef Television. The award includes a £10.000 donation towards their first mission, a family room for the neonatal unit of the Whittington Hospital London, as well as the making of a short film about the foundations activities.
The LTCF will raise money primarily through musical projects and will work closely with independent classical music record label Orchid Classics.

KINGS PLACE CONCERT SUCCESS!
We are happy to announce that through our concert, entitled
Fairy Tales and Goblins’ Dances, in London's stunning new arts venue, Kings Place, on 18th December 2009 we raised over £3000 to purchase equipment for the neonatal unit at north London’s Whittington Hospital. The hospital where Lenny was born is engaged in a capital fund-raising campaign to acquire equipment that the National Health Service is unable to provide.
The Whittington Hospital gave us and Lenny sensitive and compassionate care, and the Foundation aims to reward that care by helping to provide other babies given a bad start in life with some hope for the future.
